Sheila Van Berkel
Biography
Sheila van Berkel is a 20 year old Dutch artist/ballerina who started painting at an early age under her uncle (artist: Jan Hovener) and her father's (artist: Peter van Berkel) creative guidance. While Sheila takes her own strides in the painting world, she infuses some of her father's technique in with her own. Much like Peter, she uses thick amounts of paint and applies it with a palette knife. Sheila's use of bright reds and blues help her florals come to life. She eagerly devotes her time to painting and dancing.
