Claudio Ciardi
Biography
Claudio Ciardi, a self-educated landscape painter, was born in Castellabate, Italy, in 1962. This young artist has attained such maturity in his powers of observation that he is able to interpret truthfully in his works representations of what he sees. Ciardi infuses in his paintings an independent awareness and an individual consciousness of what each individual sees. Each landscape becomes a personal vision, rich in subjective interpretative meaning without damaging the aesthetic beauty of the landscape he has painted. Vibrating brush strokes, a result of good technique obtained by intensive practice in painting, separated from a deep search within himself, constitute his greatest skill and form the basis for his unbroken rise and development as a painter.
