Located in the heart of the French Quarter on historic Royal Street, Galerie Rouge features vibrant original oils by some of the world’s most renowned artists. The varied collection of work mingles impressionistic landscapes and streetscapes, exacting realistic still lifes, maritime scenes, and elegant florals, with modernistic still lifes and contemporary paintings.

Established in 2002, the elegantly designed gallery has an old-world charm and graciousness that is unique to New Orleans.  Owner Melissa Schehr has selected leading artists in a wide range of genres to create one of the most vibrant galleries in the area. Her goal is to provide the highest quality art for all levels of enthusiasts, be it a first-time buyer or a seasoned collector.

The gallery is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
